The best part of travelling is finding some really cook locations to photograph! I'm not going to lie.. When I walk past a nice place, the first thing I definitely think is, "Wow, this would be great for portraits." As a photographer, it's hard not to!
I had an amazing opportunity to do some photos for this lovely couple. It was a great opportunity to explore a gorgeous area of Cusco and capture the gorgeous sunset that night. It also happened to be my last night in Peru, so it was a nice way to spend it.
We met at the Plaza De Armas in Cusco. It's definitely a touristy area of Cusco. Lots of cool restaurants, little stores and many, many travellers. The sunset was GORGEOUS and made for a fantastic location.
The biggest challenge with this shoot was working with a new location. I'm so accustomed to the spots I use regularly, that it was really interesting to use a new spot. The lighting was unique, especially during golden hour.
Check out this dreamy sunset!! I dream to do a destination wedding one day. I am so excited to be able to travel and do what I love. That was the best part about this opportunity. I LOVE to travel and I LOVE taking pictures. This was such a fantastic way to combine both!
