The June Motel – Prince Edward County

Talk about the cutest motel ever! This past July, my friend Madison and I visited Prince Edward County for a weekend. Our accommodations? The June Motel.

Seriously though, how amazing is this motel?! This was our first stop in Picton, Ontario. We checked in to our room and were offered a lovely glass of rosé. Our room was located on the main level. All room doors are located outside and rooms are located both at the main level, and at the back of the motel at the second level. Room number 3 seemed to be the perfect fit for us!

Such a cozy room! From the chic decor to the extra comfy beds – everything was wonderful. Especially the natural and botanical shower products in the bathroom. Talk about VIP! We were heading out to dinner, but enjoyed all the fun features of the room, poured ourselves a glass of wine and prepared for a night out! The room was perfect for cozying up in bed watching a movie after with some delicious snacks and wine. It was great having our own little kitchenette in our room to be able to prepare some snacks in comfort.

After dinner, we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and gorgeous patio at The June. There is a spectacular outdoor seating area with fire pits, snacks and drinks available. They even offer outdoor movie nights, and other fun events at The June Motel! It was such a great night so far, now – to sleep.

The best part of The June is definitely the lobby. I mean seriously – how cute?! I may just be in love with the decor (and everything else about this place). The June has a lot of unique features. One of them being the amazing breakfast they have to offer! I had a chocolate chia seed pudding and a cold-pressed juice while Madison had a yogurt parfait. Such a delicious breakfast. They also have a mini store in their lobby selling all the cute accessories and products they offer in the rooms. I bought the cutest mug that says “This may be wine” haha!

The staff at The June are the sweetest bunch! Such kind gals. I really felt at home during my short stay, and that is really all I could ask for.

This is the lobby. Was I right, or was a right? It’s adorable! A girl’s dream. The June also offers bikes for rent! Each has a unique license plate and are such a cute, vintage style. They show you routes to take to see beautiful scenery and places to visit in Picton. We decided to do the mountain bike ride. Man, was I ever exhausted! Not only was it a super hot day, but it is HARD to bike up a mountain!

Honestly, I couldn’t have been happier with my experience at The June Motel, and I cannot wait to go back! So much still to see and do in Picton!
