Hey guys! I'm back!
I know, it's been a while since I've blogged but I have so much to share and it's time to get on top of things. That's the one good thing about Winter: business slows down and I can get caught up on all those (tedious) computer tasks.
To start off 2020's blog posts, I'm sharing this gorgeous wedding at Dashwood Gardens! What a gorgeous venue, beautiful part of Ontario, and awesome couple. I celebrated this beautiful day with Emily and Travis and their loving families. It was a blast! Best of all, I was part photographer/part guest, so I really got to enjoy the fun after the night ended.
Dashwood Gardens has a house on site for the bridal party to get ready. It's a beautiful home with lots of natural light. Makes it so convenient to get ready, then head right outside for the ceremony!
The ceremony was set to be outside. It was raining all morning, so a tent was set up above the guests to protect against the rain. Luckily for us, it stopped raining JUST before we were set to begin! What are the chances?! A beautiful ceremony and gorgeous weather. Couldn't have gotten any better.
A key thing to remember when doing family photos is that these are the images that will be hanging on people's walls to remember your big day. It's best to keep them simple, clean and smiling at the camera. Don't forget to include your grandparents! They will cherish these photos, and so will you. It's the one time when most of your family is gathered in one location, so it's best to take advantage of it!
I absolutely love when couples go straight into their first dance after their grand entrance. Everyone's eyes are already on you, the floor is open all for you, and it's one magical moment.
